This week I was given exclusive access to photograph the Duchess of Cornwall at the biennial Bee Garden Party at Marlborough House.
Camilla and Prince Charles own hives themselves and sell their honey for charity.
The event was hosted by BBC Radio 4 presenter Martha Kearney and Classic FM presenter Bill Turnbull. It was also attended by Mary Berry, Dame Julia Somerville, Baroness Scotland, Wolfgang Buttress, creator of The Hive at Kew, bee theatre artist Artizani, and BBC presenter Nick Robinson.
The weather was wet, even by English summer standards, but it was an enjoyable event for a good cause: Bees for Development helps people out of poverty in Africa and other parts of the world through beekeeping.
