A pocket of deprivation in the royal borough

Have been helping with food bank deliveries on the Cambridge Road Estate in the Royal Borough of Kingston.

Built in the 1960s it is facing demolition as part of an £800m regeneration.

Amid the uniformity there are little touches of individuality from residents.

The estate has a problem with drug-dealing and knife crime.

It is lockdown still, but no children were outside playing on this sunny day.

The local food bank feeds 300 people.
