As the lockdown eases again, we’re back to Portmellon, Cornwall for a break.
Sarah spent her childhood holidays in this cottage.
The fishing port of Mevagissey is only a mile over the hill.
It may look idyllic, but I was mugged for my pasty… by a seagull. It slammed into my shoulder from behind and snatched it out of my hand.
Some shops haven’t survived the lockdown.
These curious creatures in a nearby field are one of the reasons I am trying not to eat meat.
The weather is sometimes no different from when we were here in winter (LINK).
The view from my window first thing:
Although the rain has its compensations.
And then the sun comes out…
Gorran Haven is nearby.
Despite the beauty of the coastline, I prefer photographing people.
