Shocked and saddened to hear the news that Italian photographer Elisa Tomaselli has died.
Her ‘Collecting Souls’ series won a Paris Street Photography Award only last month.
A photographer’s work can reveal an insight into their soul.
In light of the news, Elisa seems to have been a tormented soul suffering from depression.
She said: “‘Collecting Souls’ was born from my need to explore the world around me, increasingly perceived as distant and alien.”
I met her at the London Street Photography Festival last summer, where her powerful work won another commendation.
She has this quote on her FB page:
– How long is forever? White Rabbit: – Sometimes, just one second
